800x600, WHY??
If you have a 15" or smaller sized monitor then a resolution of 800x600 or lower is acceptable, although to view web sites properly you should increase your resolution to at least 1024x768.
If you have a monitor of 17" or greater then there is NO POINT in running your computer at 800x600. You are loosing the full potential of your computer screen. You should increase the resolution to at least 1024x768. Although things may seem a bit small to start with it is because you are viewing them in more detail and at their actual size, because if you are using 800x600 on a 17" monitor then everything is TOO BIG!! Most web sites today are designed to be viewed with a resolution of at least 1024x768 and will not look right when viewed using 800x600. Our 17" monitors are run at 1280x1024 and our 21" monitors are run at ????x????.
